Successful Commissioning of the Automatic Gas Collector Pipe Control System

It is learned that the negative-pressure coal charging renovation project for coke ovens started construction in May 2020 with a total investment of 22 million yuan. The automatic gas collector pipe control system, a sub-project of the coke oven negative-pressure coal charging renovation project, was undertaken by Xi'an Zhongcheng Automation Engineering Co., Ltd. After seven months of construction, the automatic gas collector pipe control system was successfully switched over and put into operation at one go.
As a key environmental protection project of the company, the automatic gas collector pipe control system adopts a full-process control concept for coal charging, integrating multiple advanced technologies including sophisticated coke oven pressure balance control technology, stepless suction control technology for blowers, precise balance control technology for multiple parallel blowers, blower motor current control technology, adaptive reversing technology, and computer hot standby redundancy technology.
To guarantee the smooth commissioning of the automatic gas collector pipe control system, the Kefa Project Department formulated well-organized construction and commissioning schedules to secure safe construction and startup of the project. The negative-pressure coal charging project mainly covers three parts: smoke guiding vehicle renovation, high-pressure ammonia water system renovation, and the automatic gas collector pipe control system. To deliver the project safely and efficiently, the Kefa Project Department held multiple coordination meetings with Xi'an Zhongcheng Automation Engineering Co., Ltd. to repeatedly refine the construction sequence and implementation schemes, enabling accelerated construction under guaranteed safety conditions.
During project execution, dedicated staff were assigned to conduct full-time safety supervision and quality tracking at the construction site, minimizing disruptions to existing operating systems and ensuring safe on-site construction. Prior to the connection between the new automatic gas collector pipe control system and the original system, all relevant schemes and emergency plans were reviewed, approved and jointly signed off. During the actual docking process, environmental and safety risks were minimized, laying a solid foundation for the successful commissioning of the automatic gas collector pipe control system.
