Maintenance & Operation Tips for Bottle Top Dispensers

Hold the reagent bottle with one hand and rotate the bottle top dispenser with the other, aligning the dispensing tube and the bottle label toward the operator. Place a receiving vessel under the dispensing nozzle, remove the sealing cap on the nozzle, and slide the cap backward toward the tube fitting to lock it in place.
Liquid Aspiration & Dispensing
Hold the reagent bottle with one hand and rotate the bottle top dispenser with the other, aligning the dispensing tube and the bottle label toward the operator. Place a receiving vessel under the dispensing nozzle, remove the sealing cap on the nozzle, and slide the cap backward toward the tube fitting to lock it in place.
Bubble Removal
Turn the graduated dial on the top of the dispenser to one-quarter or one-third of the full range. Rotate the side safety valve so its arrow points to the rear side of the dispenser (rotated away from the dispensing tube). Rapidly draw up and discharge liquid by pulling the top piston handle upward and pressing it down quickly; repeat several times until no obvious bubbles are visible through the side viewing window during liquid intake.
Then rotate the safety valve to align its arrow with the front side (toward the dispensing tube). Repeat the above suction and discharge cycles several more times to fully eliminate all bubbles inside the dispensing tube.
Quantitative Dispensing
Rotate the top graduated dial clockwise or counterclockwise to set the required dispensing volume. Position a receiving container under the nozzle. Slowly and steadily pull the piston handle all the way up, then press it fully down to dispense the exact preset volume of solution.
Post-Use Handling
After finishing operation, push the piston handle all the way down to its lowest position. Reset the graduated dial to zero to lock the piston in place.
