Recently, the distributed solar panel project on the factory rooftops of Changliwas successfully commissioned and connected to our power grid. Dark blue solar panels cover the rooftops, converting sunlight into clean electricity used directly for our manufacturing and office areas. This marks a major step forward in green manufacturing and carbon reduction, and injecting further sustainability momentum into the company’s high-quality development.

As a hightech enterprise and Jiangsu “Specialized and Sophisticated” SME with over 20 years in refrigeration piping , Changli has always committed to green development, responding to China’s national “dual carbon” strategy. To utilise idle rooftop space, optimise energy structure, and reduce operating costs, the company, after thorough evaluation and professional surveys, launched the rooftop solar project.

The project uses the roofs of production workshops and office buildings, operating under a “self-consumption with surplus feeding to grid” model: PV power first meets production and office needs, with excess clean electricity fed into the public grid, achieving efficient on-site consumption. High-efficiency monocrystalline silicon panels, smart inverters, and a real-time monitoring system ensure high efficiency, stable operation, and easy maintenance, with a designed service life of over 25 years.

Benefits – Cost Savings and Eco-Efficiency

Economically, green power directly reduces purchased electricity costs, and the panels also provide roof insulation, lowering top-floor workshop temperatures by 3-5°C in summer, cutting air-conditioning energy consumption. Ecologically, it saves dozens of tonnes of standard coal and reduces over 100 tonnes of CO₂ annually – equivalent to planting thousands of trees. Managerially, the smart monitoring system collects real-time energy data to support further energy-saving management.
